The basics are the same (Aurora is simply a modified version of the Eclipse engine that was used for DAO.) So some things can be done using the original Toolset. But others, (like almost anything to do with facemorphs) cannot because BioWare made model and animation changes that ... DA2 uses versions 4.1 and 4.0, while DAO uses version 4.0.
